The
Hassenfeld Library
The Hassenfeld Library is located on the west end of The University
School of Nashville's campus. The collection's 20,000 volumes,
including videos, multimedia kits, records, and computer software, are
accessible through an online card catalog. The library subscribes
to over 100 periodicals and maintains back issues in both print and
microform. At present the libraries have 26 PCs with CD-ROM capabilities
and direct internet access. Students may search the libraries'
collections from any computer throughout the school building.
There are seven small group
study rooms which are not reserved for any group and are available on
a first come, first served basis throughout the school day. The
three level library also houses a student project room, a copy room,
a library classroom, and a story room. Other features include
areas for comfortable reading, individual study carrels, study tables,
and computer tables.
