Join appraiser MARSHALL FALLWELL, JR. in the world of antiques and collectibles. Mr. Fallwell, who has been an appraiser and estate sale manager in Nashville for fifteen years, is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (Antiques and Decorative Arts in the American Society of Appraisers) and has written many articles on antiques. This class covers spotting fakes and reproductions, shopping the Internet, running estate sales, and much more. Gain the confidence to complete a simple tile project by attending this morning workshop. SAM MILETICH has twenty-five years experience in the tile business and has been self-employed for the last thirteen. Holding a degree in English from U.C. Berkeley, he has followed his natural flair for working with his hands. With the right tools and a few hours with Sam, you'll have the knowledge to pursue home tiling projects. The demonstration will involve the installation of tile on a kitchen backsplash.

This is the perfect class for those who are enchanted by roses, but intimidated at the thought of growing them. LOGAN SHILLINGLAW III, past president of the Nashville Rose Society, and a member of the American Rose Society will teach you the basics of growing beautiful roses in middle Tennessee. Learn about everything from plant selection to cutting and winter protection from Logan, who is an avid exhibitor and occasional writer for the American Rose
magazine, the official monthly publication of the ARS.

Naturalistic design is the practice of incorporating the art and sculpture of Mother Nature into planned landscapes.
