
Monday was the first day of USN’s morning bus service, with pickups on Hillsboro Road and Harding Road and dropoff right at the front door. The bus ride meant more than 60 happy kids, less fossil fuel burned, and less morning traffic in our parking lots.

Sports Awards Evenings set for next Monday and Tuesday
The MS and HS Sports Awards Evenings will take place next Monday and Tuesday evening. The middle school will host their evening on Monday at 6:45 in the USN Auditorium. All parents and athletes from the winter (basketball and swimming) and spring sports (lacrosse, baseball, tennis, and track and field) should make plans to attend. Awards will be handed out and all players recognized for their participation in athletics this winter and spring.
The HS awards evening will take place on Tuesday, also at 6:45 in the Auditorium. The awards evening will cover all spring sports (baseball, tennis, lacrosse, ultimate, and track and field). Please make plans to attend our awards evening. Our prestigious Tiger of the Year award will also be handed out at the Awards Evening.

Your child can discover this summer that learning a new language is fun—classes for 1st through 6th graders held at USN are taught in the TPR method which aims to duplicate the effortless way we acquire our first language as babies. Read more.

The MTSU Adult Summer Language Institute offers intensive language classes at USN for adults (also open to rising 7th graders and older students). Sponsored by the Center for Accelerated Language Acquisition at MTSU, language offerings include: German, Arabic, Chinese/Mandarin, French, Scottish Gaelic, and Spanish.
