This is a list of books selected for their strong feminist content and literary merit by the Feminist Task Force of the Social Responsibilities Round Table of the American Library Association. The Lower School is holding a Family Book Party on Monday, January 28 at 5:00 in the Hassenfeld Library’s Bennett Klein Story Room. This month’s theme is Penguins.




The Scholastic Book Fair is in the Hassenfeld Library, January 28-February 1.
Volunteers are needed. Contact Rachel Barden at rwlbjgb@comcast.net or 665-9515 if you are willing to work a 2 hour shift from 7:45 a.m.-5:00 p.m. any day that week.

Everyone is invited to the sixth annual Gathering of Families, USN’s celebration of Black History Month, on Saturday, February 2. This year it honors journalist Dwight Lewis (former USN parent) and features music by Billy Kirsch and Piper Jones 08. Read more.
