Another Kind of Thanksgiving Harvest
Consider making the Penny Harvest a part of your Thanksgiving weekend this year. Last year, a number of people told family and friends ahead of time that pennies and spare change would be collected for Common Cents on Thanksgiving. That simple gesture sparked lively conversations about where the school’s Harvest might go and brought to the forefront the holiday’s spirit of gratitude.

MS Boys’ Soccer team prepares for this week’s HVAC Tournament

Middle School Tigers of the Week

Many middle school Tigers have done great things this past week. From girls’ soccer, congratulations are in order for Abby Motycka and Madi Abelson, who have been stellar on defense all season, especially this past week against CPA. The Tigers shut CPA out once and then lost a heartbreaker to the Lions of CPA, 0-1, in the first round of the HVAC tournament.

On the boys’ side, Jack Trooper and Takuma Johnson have been rock-solid on D all year, leading the boys’ team to a semi-final berth in the HVAC tournament.

For the swim team, Ellen Jones and William Doak posted excellent times in their first meet at Cleveland Middle School last Saturday. Go Tigers!

Fall Sports Evenings recognize the teams’ accomplishments.
Middle Schools is Monday, November 19.

Health Forms Needed

All high school and middle school athletes must have a health form on file with the athletic department before they engage in team practices. Forms are on the USN website and should be returned to Josh Scouten in the athletics office. Email jscouten@usn.org if you have questions.

For the latest Tiger scores, visit www.usn.org and go to the pull down sports list.
