Office of Alumni and Development

The Office of Alumni and Development works to secure a strong financial future for University School of Nashville and to connect the graduates of Peabody Demonstration School and USN with the school and with each other.

USN’s Strategic Plan 2001 identifies financial resources as a top priority, stating that “expanded financial resources are central to supporting the goals of the Strategic Plan.”

The Campaign for Arts and Letters, begun in 2002, will strengthen the school by raising money to build a new visual arts building and library and to increase the endowment.

In addition, we will:

- enhance our Planned Giving program and alumni outreach
- increase both the size of gifts and breadth of participation from a range of constituencies in the Annual Fund
- find innovative ways to meet the school’s financial objectives.

The Alumni and Development Office is responsible for constituent (alumni, parents, parents of alumni, grandparents, and friends) relations, fund raising, assisting with school-wide planning and development, community relations, and publications.
