artclectic Education & Studio Days
Education Day
USN is dedicated to enriching people's lives through art. The Christine Slayden Tibbott Art Center is an 18,000 square foot complex with facilities for artistic pursuits ranging from photography, painting, sculpture, and ceramics to digital graphics, woodworking, cold and warm glass working, and more.
Every artclectic artist participates in some aspect of Education Day. Many choose to be in the gallery with their work to talk to students about themselves and their art. Some will give demonstrations. Others will share their talents as guest artists in classrooms not only in the Tibbott Center but also throughout our K-12 campus. All of our students will have the opportunity to tour artclectic and/or to participate in workshops with artists in the classroom.
Studio Days
Offered as part of the artclectic show on Saturday 11-4 and Sunday 11-2. Bring the kids and family during Studio Days and let their creativity shine. Hands-on art activities including FREE The Scrap Exchange
painting pottery with Brushfire for $5 and artist Andrew Vastagh silkscreening onto canvas bags. On Saturday enjoy a healthy lunch fresh off the Whole Foods Giving Grill for only $5!
Aren't we all artists at heart?
